The access to information on public contracts from other countries is still extremely difficult. While all larger public projects with a contract value above the EU thresholds are published in the EU-database “Tenders Electronic Daily (TED)“, it is important to keep in mind that the value of more than 80 percent of all public contracts is below these thresholds. These tenders are published exclusively in various national media.

In order to assist companies in gaining access to transnational public contracts below the thresholds, the partners to the ALPPS project search in their respective national media for suitable public contracts for companies.
